1st Annual Brooklyn Big Eyed Blues Festival Youth Workshop October 2006

Hello All!

Just wanted to share some photographs of our 1st Annual Brooklyn Big Eyed Blues Festival Youth Workshop. Twenty (20) community youths were selected to participate in workshops that included an introduction to blues guitar, harmonica and blues writing. All sessions were led by area professionals. Michael Hill of "The Michael Hill Blues Mob" (guitar), Keith "The Captain" Gamble (harmonica) and Tuliva Cumberbatch (blues writing), were among the professionals who pitched in. This year's workshop will take place on October 27, 2007. Forty youths will be selected to participate. You can help offset the cost of this year's workshop by sponsoring one child for $25.
